Problem Statement:- Adiministrators are getting error while querying the Citrix desktop group via PowerShell SDK. The admins are getting error like “Thr formatter threw an exception while trying to deserialize the message: There was an error while trying to decentralize parameter http://tempuri.org/records.The inner exception message was “Invalid ENUM value ‘L7-34’ cannot be decentralized into type “Citrix.Broker.Admin.SDK.Functionallevel”.
Root Cause: – The PowerShell SDK is older than the functional level of delivery group. This can happen due to someone created the new VDAs with the latest Citrix VDA version and changed the functional level of the delivery group.
Solution: – Reinstall the latest powershell SDK from Citrix Cloud portal and the query will work without issues.
